Afterlove EP - due early 2025

Revealed in December 2021, this blend of visual novel, adventure and rhythm games has been a true labor of love for the dedicated developers at Pikselnesia following the passing of Creative Director, Mohammad Fahmi, in March 2022. The team today revealed they are entering the final stages with the 125,000 word script complete, porting for the console versions having commenced and confirmed day one localisation into Japanese and Indonesian. The game is targeting an early 2025 release window on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, so you won’t have to wait much longer! Wander Stars uses its words in 2025!

We’re thrilled to announce that Wander Stars will be released on PC and Nintendo Switch in 2025! Inspired by 90’s anime and Saturday morning cartoons, this turn-based RPG will see players defeat enemies by combining words in a wild race across the universe. Developers, Paper Castle Games is excited to share the game’s launch window as well as further details about the game in the lead-up to 2025. In the meantime, a demo is available on Steam.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector begins takeoff sequence boosted by its 1 million player predecessor

Alongside developer Jump Over The Age, we announced today that in Citizen Sleeper, over a million Sleepers have played out their story on Erlin’s Eye, making friends (or enemies), feeding cats, and forging their fate in the stars and beyond. And it’s not long until you’ll be able to step into the shoes of a new Sleeper with the sequel, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, releasing in early 2025 on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch and coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.

From the developers of Smile for Me, Limbo Lane, comes an adventure game where only the power of words can prevent the A-POCKY-LIPS! In Great God Grove you must suck up and launch dialogue in a world of puzzles, puppets, and weird gods. Fans of these developers’ unique style have barely any time to wait with the game set to launch before the end of the year and a release date announcement imminent.

Pine: A Story of Loss

Alone in the forest glade, he shared with his wife, a woodworker struggles to accept her passing. Help him hold on to cherished memories of their life together as he struggles to care for himself and his now-empty home. A deeply personal game that began as an illustration of a grieving woodcutter, the game is from first-time developers, Made Up Games. Persisting through a mix of challenging and joyous life events since the start of the project, the developers are finally close to the finish line and expect to announce the release date and platforms shortly. Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo brings peace to the afterlife in 2025

Developed by Galla, a studio founded by two brothers originally from the Dominican Republic, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo will see you use your wits, kindness, and maybe a good whack to gather clues, items, and evidence that will help the residents of Limbo move on. Untangling an afterlife is no easy feat, especially when you don’t have feet! It will launch on PC, Xbox and Nintendo Switch and a two-hour demo is available on Steam right now. Since launching in May of this year, the thrilling sci-fi adventure has sold over 25,000 copies and is ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ on Steam with over 1,000 reviews and an 89% review average on Opencritic, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Hades II, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Animal Well inside the 25 best-reviewed games of 2024.

Heralded as a “revolution in storytelling” (IGN), the three-time IGF award-nominated game has quickly built a dedicated fan base that continues to produce fan art and community discussions. To celebrate the milestone of 25,000 players, sunset visitor 斜陽過客 commissioned artist (and fan of the game) Maarika to create a custom piece of art.

Players in Japan will soon be able to experience the game thanks to the addition of Japanese language support, which is being added to the game and will launch before the end of the year. Meanwhile, it’s also on sale for 20% for the first time as part of the Fellow Traveller Publisher Sale.
