Experience love, deal with loss and make music in Afterlove EP

Set in the vibrant backdrop of modern-day Jakarta, Afterlove EP will officially launch on PC and consoles this year!

We’re proud to announce that Pikselnesia’s Afterlove EP is set for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam this year! If you can’t wait to start jamming with the band, a limited demo is available right now until May 13 during our narrative game festival, LudoNarraCon.

Set in the bustling city of modern-day Jakarta, Afterlove EP follows Rama, a young musician who finds himself suddenly lost after his girlfriend Cinta unexpectedly passes away. While his friends and bandmates rally by his side, Rama struggles to let go of the world he shared with Cinta. With her voice inside his head (literally!), Rama is faced with the daunting task of moving on, finishing his first ever EP, and potentially even finding love again.

Afterlove EP is a slice-of-life game that takes inspiration from dating sims, rhythm games and narrative adventures. Through Rama’s shoes, you will experience the vibrant culture of Indonesia, explore real-life locations within Jakarta, socialize with friends and make choices that will affect Rama’s story.

Renowned Indonesian artist Soyatu brings Jakarta to life with manga-inspired art, illustrating Rama’s journey with hand-drawn character designs and authentic cultural landmarks. Afterlove EP is rounded out with an original soundtrack from indie band L’alphalpha, with songs written and performed in Indonesian (English translations included!).

Afterlove EP is the vision of Mohammad Fahmi, the creator of the beloved Coffee Talk series, whose passing in 2022 led the Pikselnesia team to continue on with the game in honor of his legacy and to bring his dream for the game to life. The all-Indonesian team strives to share their unique culture with the world, and show off the local talent in game development, art and music.
