Roleplay in the ruins of interplanetary capitalism when Citizen Sleeper launches on May 5th

The highly-anticipated narrative RPG will launch on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac

Wake up, Sleeper. 🌌
We’re excited to announce Citizen Sleeper, the next game from the developer of In Other Waters (which is 2 years old today!) will be available for Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam, GOG, Epic and Humble on May 5th. Citizen Sleeper will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.

Survive on the edge of an interstellar capitalist society…

You are a Sleeper, a digitised human consciousness, on the run from the corporation who owns the artificial body you inhabit. You’ve washed up on Erlin’s Eye, a ruined space station on the edges of an interstellar capitalist society. What’s your next move?

Inspired by the freedom and flexibility of tabletop RPGs, with each dice roll you will build friendships, work to survive, and navigate the factions of this strange and unruly space station just to make it to the next cycle. Early praise for Citizen Sleeper:

It’s cool as hell, and I only played the first 4 hours of it…
— Ricardo Contreras - Waypoint
I’m completely bewitched with Citizen Sleeper’s sci-fi world and I’ve only just scratched the surface.
— Rachel Watts - PC Gamer
...of all the games shown during this year’s biggest gaming news event, the game that’s stuck in my mind the most is a little indie title whose trailer was tucked into the back half of the PC Gaming Show: Citizen Sleeper.
— Toussaint Egan - Polygon
Citizen Sleeper already has a pretty intriguing premise and some fantastic artwork, so I’m eager to see how this one turns out.
— Emma Kent - Eurogamer

One cycle at a time…

You are hunted. You must rely on your intuition and make bold decisions based on the hand you are dealt. Determine your future, build your life from nothing, and make the most of your days on Erlin’s Eye. From navigating anarchic alliances and hacking the station’s deepest secrets, to grabbing street food or occupying a bar stool during your offtime, there is much to explore and uncover on this mysterious and unruly space station.

Check out the new trailer featuring music composed by Amos Roddy (Kingdom: Two Crowns, Strafe, In Other Waters) and striking character art created by French comic book artist Guillaume Singelin. You’ll be able to hear and see a lot more of their work in the final game.
